Mary's Visit 2007: Nice

In June 2007 my cousin Mary Raffetto came to visit for two weeks. We're close like good sisters and it was so,so much fun having her visit! I've put together a photo scrapbook of the photos we both took that highlight her visit. What's great is that you will see places a stone's throw from our house in Biot.

The tone for Mary's visit was set her first day when we went to "Vieux Nice" to the Cours Salaya for lunch, coffee beans (surprisingly very hard to find in France), flower and spice shopping, a nice walk up to the Chateau for panoramic views of the Port and Bay and a visit to the Modern Museum of Art. Mary loved the all truffle lunch at the "Terre du Truffe," the flowers and spices, and the sea views but frankly found the Museum boring. She said she's not much on museums but prefers shopping, food and views. I go to plenty of museums but don't get to go shopping much. This shopping, food, and view odyssey was going to be great!
